Montgomery County Chorale and Orchestra is very excited to announce our upcoming 2025-2026 concert season, presenting attractive sponsorship opportunities for area businesses interested in demonstrating their support for the local arts and culture community.
Our 28th season begins on October 19 with A Symphonic Spectacular, a concert of music for solo flute and solo trumpet and orchestra. This concert will present two world premieres! One by Erik Meyer, MCCO Collaborative Accompanist, and the second by Ajibola Rivers, MCCO Cellist. In addition to the premieres, we will perform works by Haydn and Schumann.
December 6 and 7, we will offer two presentations of our increasingly popular Festival of Carols concert, We will present MCCO’s second commission through the Michael Kemp Fund for New Music as we perform the world premiere of a piece for choir, orchestra, and organ by Philadelphia resident and internationally recognized composer, Melissa Dunphy. In addition, we will present readings, exciting arrangements of traditional carols, and other music for the season.
Our season ends on April 19, 2026 with A Tapestry of Music, an exhilarating concert of music for choir, orchestra, and organ. and composers. We will explore music that crosses a variety of genres, time periods, This carefully curated concert will give our audience a thrilling afternoon of music in a way that only MCCO can do!
